How to Be a Bartender in Las Vegas?

 The popularity of Bartenders in Las Vegas is immense as it is considered to be one of the most happening places on earth. There is great earning potential if you possess the right attitude and you are working at the right place. You get to meet various people in Las Vegas clubs as millions of people visit this city just to enjoy its night life. If you are thinking bartending to be a career option, you will require the following:

    It is important that you get yourself registered and attend a bartending school in Las Vegas. There you will get to learn about various bartending skills and everything else related to bartending. You would be required to have sound knowledge about various drinks and liquor. You would also be required to memorize the recipes of popular cocktails that are available in most of the bars. You will be taught about your basic duties and responsibilities as a bartender.

•    Obtaining a license from the Nevada Alcohol Beverage Control Board as that is mandatory. All restaurants and bars would ask for this in order to hire you. Few hours of classes at a physical location is what is required for this license. These classes can be taken online as well. The fee is also very less.

•    You can work a barback that is the person who sets up the bar before it opens to obtain knowledge about bartending. As a barback you would be required to take orders from customers, fill up the shelves with wine and other liquors and hence, you will get a fair idea about all these. Working beside an experienced bartender will also teach you various tricks of this trade.

•    While going for an interview, make sure that you are smartly dressed as your appearance matters. Make sure that you have your certificate and license as well. Always, remember that since Las Vegas bartenders are popular, there is always someone to take your place.

  4. Thanks for sharing, I am Prabir Kumar Mondal. How can I move to Las Vegas and become a bartender at a nightclub?

  5. Hi dear Prabir, I think you can show this tips To be qualified for most casinos, you have to have some amount of experience in the hospitality industry. This means high-volume hospitality environments, not a mom-and-pop restaurant that dishes out a few drinks here and there. We're talking thousands of customers per shift. If not, your best bet is to take a class in bartending or dealing when you get here. Don't bother taking a bartending class before you head out as Las Vegas bartending requires a unique set of skills for serving the clientele. Some of the places I found while scouring the streets are:

    * ABC Bartending
    * PCI Dealers School
    * Las Vegas School of Dealing
    * Dealers Training Center

    These schools say that they will teach you "Las Vegas Style Bartending" in a week or two and they will provide a qualification class to help you obtain your Alcohol Awareness Card. Of course, prepare yourself to have to put out the money up front and find a place to stay while going to class and job hunting. However, most of the schools in the area provide placement counseling it help you find a job when you graduate.
